Jenna Carey Wildin
On April 30, 2001 my family and I lost one of our family members, Jenna Carey Wildin aka "Groovy J". She was killed in a car accident at the age of sixteen. Below is a project I did to always remember her.

Easter Cards
I know this is past the day but I didn't want the people who will be receiving my cards to see what they looked like.

Hoping for the sunny days of Summer comes soon
I decided to try a new technique as well as hoping that the snow will go away and the warm sunny days will be upon us soon. My new technique came from Spellbinders new magazine or book, which ever it is, called "Spellbinders Nestabilities Basics & Beyond". Very neat book to see what more you can do with Spellbinders. At the beginning of the book it tells you how to do this technique and the end results are on page 57. My sun has the same 3D layered affect as the flowers just using a different stamp and Spellbinders die. I stamped my image 4 times then used Spellbinders circle dies to create the circles. Then I colored each image about the same with Copic markers. And viola!

Hugs and Prayers Black and White
This card I came up with on my own. I first measured how much of the black paper I wanted and mine is 4 1/4 by 3. Then tick marked some areas so I know where the hummingbird needed to go. Then I stamped the images and let dry because the white ink I used was a Stampin' Up! craft which smears pretty easy. So while I waited I embossed the card. Then I cut to a point on the black piece then cut out the hummingbird so it looked like it is flying into the flower.

Window Pane
This wooden panel idea in the background came from this video: click here . You could play with the color but I thought this was neat for a manly card or the look of a wood floor or like mine the side of house. Very fun technique.

Hugs and Prayers Colorful
I got the idea for this from this website: click here . Hers is a little different because she can blend the ink really well for the background. But I tried and it didn't come out too bad. This is my favorite card because it is out of my box with blending as best as I can and playing with a different techniques.
